Our Conductor
Danielle Allie
Danielle Allie is a dedicated music educator, clarinetist, and community band conductor. She earned dual degrees in Music Education and Clarinet Performance from the University of Southern Maine and pursued two additional years of graduate study in Clarinet Performance. Her clarinet studies included work with distinguished professors at USM, the New England Conservatory, and Dr. Hoch’s Konservatorium in Frankfurt, Germany.
As a performer, Danielle has appeared with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, Maine State Ballet Orchestra, Maine Music Society, and the Portland Symphony Orchestra. She has taught music both in the U.S. and Europe, including 11 years as an instrumental music teacher in Biddeford, Maine.
Community bands have been central to Danielle’s life since age nine, when she joined Painchaud’s Band in Biddeford. Today, as conductor of the Alumni Band of Southern Maine, she continues that tradition—bringing musicians together and sharing the joy of live performance with audiences across Maine.
